We have adapted our Pony Truss Girder design to produce a type of bridge which is not unfamiliar on railways around the world. By placing the cross beams and track way on the top of the truss we have a bridge which provides a clear unobstructed view of the trains as they cross whilst retaining an interesting and authentic appearance. It is also able to offer the strength for single spans well over 1 metre.
For additional interest the deck can be provided with our standard parapet rails.

Each bridge is individually made by hand. It is supplied in its bare metal state and can be left to weather naturally or you can prime and paint it. Note we don't supply it highly polished! It bears minor scratches and scuffs from the process of construction which certainly do not detract from the appearance of the bridge.
Longitudinal plates are placed at a suitable distance to support 32mm and 45mm gauge track. The bridge does not include any decking but you could easily add your own wooden planking or a zinc diamond pattern grid. The length of the bridge allows it to be supported by the end 10-20mm of the beams.
The bridge is supplied fully constructed as shown in the photos. Obviously the rolling stock and track are shown for scale purposes only and are not included.
Concrete moulded bridge supports shown in the illustrations can be obtained from Cain Howley Structures.
