Model Bridges for the Narrow Gauge Garden Railway

This is the sixth bridge in our standard range. The under arch design is one we felt we must have in our range. It simply oozes class and tradition. Following our usual construction method it gives a model with a smooth curved arch supporting a sturdy deck. The structure is well braced and does not rely on the abutments to restrain the arch. The side structures consist of an arched beam, maximum height 100mm at the centre sloping downwards section by section to each end. Vertical and diagonal members support the beam. All sections are of 12mm x 12mm aluminium square section connected by 1.5mm plates rivetted with 2.4 mm blind rivets. The main deck and side structures are supported on sturdy 25mm x 25mm 'T' section beams.
