UNDER BEAM BRIDGE
This is one of the simplest bridge structures. Over short spans the Under Beam Bridge is capable of taking a substantial load and offers a width which is quite generous. Similar designs are often found on narrow gauge railways. It is therefore an ideal and economic choice for the small garden railway.
The strength of the Under Beam Bridge lies in the two main inverted T section beams and we suggest that it is only suitable for spans up to 1 metre.
Under Beam Bridges are available in three standard lengths of 500mm, 750mm and 1000mm. However we can supply these quite easily to your own lengths and widths to suit your own railway. These Under Beam bridges have a parapet rail on each side. Let us know if you don't require this feature.
